Navigating Through CycleProGoTM Day-by-Day
How should I get started charting?
When you first created your account, you should
have been routed to the Startup Questionnaire.
This should be filled out first, because it provides key information for the
best interpretations and experience. If you’re not sure if you did it, select Home > Startup Questionnaire.
There are two very helpful but short video tutorials to assist you in getting started.
What if I want to import my existing charts
from CyclePRO®?
You can export your fertility data from CyclePRO,® email it as an attachment to our Support Team, and they
can import your charts and data into your CycleProGoTM account. To export your fertility data
from CyclePRO:®
- Open CyclePRO® (desktop version)
- Go to the menu and select “File > User >
Save as > “
- In the dialog, enter a file name. (e.g. Smith_Jane_CPG_data.stml) and save the file to your hard
drive where you can recall it
- Send an email with your file attached to support@cycleprogo.com
Once we have imported this file, we will send you a
note back confirming it has been accomplished.
How do I enter fertility data?
Fertility data for “today” can be easily entered on
“TODAY’S Daily Observations,” known as the Dashboard. Here fertility data
automatically saves after you enter it. The Dashboard always displays YOUR observations for the current day,
even when you are viewing someone else’s chart. The calendar on the right-hand
side of the screen, however, functions for the chart being viewed (yours, a
friend’s, or a student’s).
You
can also use the calendar on the upper right side of the page, click on a date,
and select “Record Symptoms” to record your fertility data.
Thirdly,
you can enter fertility data from a mobile device that is logged onto your
account. Open your CycleProGoTM
app, select the date on the calendar you wish to enter data and expand the
“daily observations” tab that appears.
For more on entering fertility data, you can watch this video tutorial:
http://youtu.be/2TIbAZMb20g
How do I start a new cycle?
To
start a new cycle, check the box on the menses tab of the Dashboard, or by
selecting calendar, and “Record Symptoms.”
If using a mobile device, select the day from the
calendar that begins the new cycle and check the box located under the “Other
Info/Notes” tab.
How do I
view my charts?
To view your current chart or a
past chart, select Charting > Fertility Charts. Scroll down the page and
select the chart you would like to view.
To customize your chart display options (chart
shading, chart length, temperature scale) select Charting > Fertility Charts, and scroll down to the chart. The Show/Hide Chart Options is located
on the left side above the chart.
How do I update my profile?
Select Settings > My Account Settings. Here you can update your personal profile (name, city, email,
password, age etc.), as well as your time zone, pregnancy goal (trying to
achieve or just tracking cycles), underlying health conditions, or teaching couple
information.
Settings > My Account Settings allows you to enter information about yourself, your preferences, and
more. Examples include health conditions, age, time zone, temperature scale
(Fahrenheit vs. Celsius).
What are "events," and how do I record them?
During your cycle you may
experience things that might impact your cycle like changes in mood, physical
events, discomfort, or even taking a medication. CycleProGo
TM provides you with a list of such “events”, and a custom field
to add your own. Events can be found by selecting Data > Event Data. You can also access Events by selecting Data > Fertility Data,
and scrolling down to the bottom of the page.
What are reminders?
Just like an electronic calendar, CycleProGoTM allows you to keep track
of reminders for the day. Set reminders by selecting Data > Reminders. You can later view them here or under
“Notes” on the Dashboard. Reminders cannot be created or viewed from a mobile
device.
Can I print my charts?
Yes. Go to the Charting > Fertility Charts page and you can print any of your charts using the "Print"
button on your Fertility Charts page of your Charting tab. You can also print
the full page using your browser's print command.
Where can I
record a pregnancy?
To enter or view pregnancy-related
information, select Analysis > Pregnancy. Here you can record
pregnancies, and CycleProGoTM can
calculate your due date with the Prem Rule or the Naegele Rule.
How does CycleProGoTM
calculate the fertility boundaries?
CycleProGoTM
is based on the Sympto-Thermal Method of NFP taught by the
Couple to Couple League. The same Phase I and Phase III rules taught in class
and in The Art of Natural Family Planning®
Student Guide are incorporated into CycleProGo.TM
If you would like to know
more about the CCL’s Method and how to register for an NFP Course, a Refresher
Course, a Postpartum or Premenopause Supplemental Course; visit us online at register.ccli.org.
How can I
sign up for a CCL class?
You can register for a class at http://register.ccli.org. Classes are available throughout the country, or
you can receive instruction over the internet if a class is not located near
you.
Can I still use CycleProGo TM
when I don’t have internet access?
Yes. You can
continue to enter daily fertility observations via a mobile device logged onto
to your account. When internet service is restored/relocated,
the saved data will be stored on the web and your charts will be automatically
updated.
Mobile Apps
Does CycleProGo TM
have a mobile app?
CycleProGo TM is web-based charting
software, but it can be accessed via mobile apps. CycleProGo TM supports Android, iPhone and Kindle systems.
How do I install CycleProGo TM
on my mobile device?
For Android: On your Android mobile device, go to your Apps page > "Shop" button > Apps
button > Search "magnifier" > Type "CycleProGo." Follow the app install instructions.
For Apple: On your iPhone/iPad device, click on your App Store icon > Search
"magnifier" > Type "CycleProGo." Follow the app install instructions.
For Kindle: On your Kindle device, go to your Kindle Store page > Search
"magnifier" > Type "CycleProGo." Follow the app install instructions.
Will my data and events
“sync” between the web and mobile devices?
Fertility data and most
recordings (e.g. mucus, temperature, cervix notations)
will synch between the web and your mobile device. At this time, only custom events are synchronized
between devices. Any field you want to synchronize has to be created as a
“custom” field. This way they will appear on both the website and your device. The
events labeled as “default” are used as a notation field; these will not be
synchronized with your mobile device.
Chart Sharing
How can I share my
charts with my friends or my Teaching Couple?
To share
your charts, select Settings > My Data Sharing. From there you can
search for your friend's or teacher’s last name. Once
you find that person, you will be given an opportunity to select what type of
data you wish to share. If you cannot find your teacher's name, contact them
directly to let them know you want to share your charts.
For more on sharing your fertility data with your teacher or friends, you can watch this video tutorial:
http://youtu.be/cDlOQFbIV-Y
How can I
view my friend’s chart?
To view a friend’s chart who has
shared their information with you, select Data > My Friend’s Data.
